Guacamole is a dip or spread essential made with avocado. Guacamole is a dip created by the Mexico City. It used to be a modern Mexican cuisine but now it’s a global cuisine. It can be used as a dip, condiment or for salad. Most people refer to guacamole as a sauce (avocado sauce).

To make guacamole, you will need ripe avocados as the major ingredients. Also, a little lemon juice will be added to give it a balance.

Guacamole is a good, tasty and healthy spread. If you are an avocado lover, then you will definitely like it. You can use it as a spread on your bread, use it on a chips or cookies. It makes snacking enjoyable and can serve as a side. Like I mentioned earlier, the main component is avocado, so feel free to utilize only the ingredients you have.

Prep time: 10 minutes


• 2 ripe avocados

• A pinch of sea salt

• ½ lemon

• ½ of medium onions

• 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley

• ¼ of ground pepper

• 1 small size tomato

• ½ spoon of olive oil


➢ Firstly, you will need to chop the onions in very small size, put in a bowl and submerge in a cold water. Allow it to sit why you prepare other things, this process will mellow out the taste.

➢ Wash the tomato, remove the pulp and seed, chop tiny and set aside.

➢ Cut avocados into halves and remove seed. Scoop out the flesh with a spoon and place in a bowl.

➢ Start mashing the avocado with a fork, this can be rough, so be careful not to splash it. You can make it chunky or smoother.

➢ Then drain the onions and add, add a pinch of salt, squeeze the lemon juice, add the ground pepper, the parsley, and the olive oil, then mix together.

Serve with chips or use as a spread.

You can place in an airtight container and refrigerate until you are ready to serve.
