If you know me well, you must have noticed my love for gizzards. I can literally eat gizzard all through the week without blinking. Gizzards and hearts can be delicious depending on the preparation.

Chicken gizzards are rich in nutrients, low in fat and often a low-cost source of protein. We all know how important Protein is to our body. Protein builds, maintains and repair all cells. Note that it is vital during development, as well as in pregnancy. Gizzard contains low fat and low sodium, also it contains niacin that helps support the immune system. They are both rich in iron and zinc.
